Welcome to The Mole House

When you open the door to The Mole House you will be met with a friendly welcome from the proprietor Claire Mole. Having spent many years traveling the world as a Rally Co-Driver, Claire has visited some off-the-beat places that many tourists never get the chance to see and she has been able to source both unusual and interesting items. Having experienced the breathtaking scenery of New Zealand, the colourful villages of Indonesia, the gorgeous lakes of Sweden, the beauty of snow covered Norway, rugged mountains of Portugal and the endless trees of Washington State USA; Claire has been inspired by it all but the beautiful Scottish Borders is home to Claire and also to The Mole House.

Combining her trade as a Tiler with her colourful traveling experiences Claire has created various mosaic pieces and mirrors for home and garden. Commissions will be taken for items unique to you and your home. You will also find Bronzes from Devon, ceramics and pottery from Scotland, Art by various Artists, Sheila Fleet Jewellery from Orkney, colourful Candles from Denmark, Woodcraft from Indonesia and much much more
